We are what we listen

by Cristhian Bedon on February 25, 2009

Does the music we listen to, tell people how smart we are? I have heard the term before: “You are what you eat.” – but this one is different. Supposedly the music you listen to, can tell people the sort of intelligence you have. There is a chart that you can see as a visual reference.

To end off with a passage in the article:

“Fans of Lil Wayne’s music scored the lowest in SAT while listeners of Beethoven’s work were among the highest scorers. The full chart is available at Music That Makes You Dumb.”

Now this is controversial, one I listen to most Hip-hop and I get good grades, but hey I could be that one in a million. Does this apply to you?

I am a music enthusiast, it started because i had to learn what people wanted to listen to due to my work as an events specialist/director. But personally I do not really have favorites. I listen to anything and try to have an open mind. I listen based on my mood.. so i think we shouldn’t be judged by what we listen to.. hey i do play a mean set on blip.fm.. have you tried it.. let’s jam soon http://blip.fm/mistygirlph . Hope you can check out my blog site i’ve featured one on blip.fm http://digigirlmisty.blogspot.com/
