They managed to a Multitouch Computer using parts that me and you can easy get, and best of all they showed us how they did it. The video below is them running the test after they got it build.

To answer your last question: I haven’t made up my mind yet if technology had a positive or negative impact on me 
It has certainly made my work and studies easier, but I find myself spending waaaay too much time on the computer, which has stared to give me a head ache and an eye problem.
